Introduction

By participating in the game, all players agree to follow this Open Market Policy. The purpose is simple: player-to-player trading is allowed, but players must understand the risk and protect themselves before making any exchange.

🛡️ Player Responsibility Own Risk Players are solely responsible for any transaction they engage in. Electus does not intervene, regulate, or provide support for Silk, Gold, or item trades between players. All transactions are made at the player's own risk. Fraudulent deals are not refunded or reimbursed. Players must verify trade partners before exchanging anything.

✅ Trading Guidelines Verify First To reduce risk, players should avoid unknown or suspicious traders and never trust anyone claiming that Electus staff is monitoring, approving, or validating a private trade. Avoid rushed transactions. Do not trade with suspicious users. Treat fake staff validation claims as fraudulent.

⚠️ Common Admin-Confirmation Scam

A scammer may contact a server admin and ask the admin to send a private message to the buyer. The scammer then tells the buyer that the admin is monitoring the transaction, creating a false sense of security. The buyer sends money, but never receives the promised in-game item. Electus staff does not oversee, validate, or confirm player-to-player trades.

Common Scams & How to Avoid Them

Scammers usually rely on speed, pressure, fake trust, and impersonation. Check every detail before trading.

Fake Middlemen Scammers may claim to be trusted middlemen offering safe trading services. Only trust well-known community figures and verify their identities carefully.	Phishing Attempts Be cautious of links or forms asking for your login credentials. Electus staff will never ask for your account details.
Overpayment Traps Some scammers offer more than the agreed price, then ask for a refund, tricking players into sending extra money.	Fake Admin Confirmation Scammers may impersonate admins, copy names, use fake profiles, or manipulate conversations to look legitimate. Do not trust third parties claiming to validate a trade.

🔒 Safe Trading Practices Double-check all trade details before finalizing any deal. Use trusted trade partners and avoid rushed transactions. Never share account details or passwords with anyone. Do not trust users who pressure you to act quickly.

💬 Discord Identity Checks Unique username: scammers may use similar-looking characters, numbers, or doubled letters. Mutual servers & friends: check shared communities before trusting anyone. Discord badges: badges may help, but they are not enough on their own.

🚫 Violation & Enforcement

Players found violating this policy may face one or more of the following actions:

• Temporary or permanent account suspension.
• Removal of illegally acquired in-game assets.
• Additional penalties at the discretion of the game administration.

Final Acknowledgment

By continuing to play Legends of Sro, all players acknowledge that they:

• Understand and accept the risks associated with player-to-player transactions.
• Agree to follow the rules set forth in this policy.
• Recognize that Electus holds no liability for disputes or losses arising from Silk, item, and Gold trading.

Special Note

You must be an actual player to sell or buy. If your only activity is buying and selling like a gold bot, you may be permanently banned from the game.
