What is Kamagra?

Kamagra tablets are used to treat a disorder associated with the male reproductive system known as erectile dysfunction. ED is a disorder colloquially known as impotence, where the man is unable to hold the erection for an adequate duration of time needed for successful sexual intercourse. Very commonly known as a blue pill, Kamagra contains a single drug known as sildenafil citrate in a concentration of 100mg. sildenafil citrate acts by increasing the blood supply to the penis and thus improving the duration of an erection. The blood vessels which supply the penis get constricted when the heart rate increases, sildenafil acts by dilating the blood vessels. It also improves the relaxation of the smooth muscles of the penis. They are also known as PDE5 inhibitors as PDE5 prevents an erection. Kamagra tablets take about 30 mins for the onset of action. These are available as over-the-counter drugs. Kamagra 100mg tablets can be taken by men aged between 18-65 years. Kamagra is fast-acting and a temporary solution for ED which reduces performance anxiety. As these pills cause the improved blood supply to the peripheral organ, the penis reduces blood supply to the heart, reducing the blood pressure. Therefore, men with a history of stroke, hypotension should refrain from using this drug. In total, it is a safe drug.

How does it work?

Kamagra which contains sildenafil citrate as the main component acts greatly by improving the blood flow to the penile region. It improves smooth muscle relaxation. The prolonged smooth muscle relaxation helps in maintaining the erection for longer durations. Kamagra improves blood circulation and helps in keeping the blood around the penile region. It acts not only on the main blood vessels supplying the penile region but also around the web of blood vessels known as the corpus callosum. Chemically, it prevents the degradation of a particular enzyme known as cGMP. It is known to relieve the contracted state of peripheral vessels around the lungs and improving the vascular bed blood circulation.
